Mine Barral-Vergez is what the French would call "La crème de la crème."
She designed costumes for theatre, variety shows, television series, movies and world famous music halls such as The Moulin Rouge, Les Folies Bergères, Lido, Crazy Horse and The Las Vegas Stardust, and worked with fashion designers like Kenzo, Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier and Thierry Mugler.
She designed costumes for famous performers such as Josephine Baker, Barbara, Lilian Montevecchi, Juliette Greco, Line Renaud, Mireille Mathieu, Juliette Binoche, Jane Fonda, Monica Bellucci, Joan Collins, Annie Girardot, Jean Marais, Michel Serrault, Brigitte Bardot and Simone Signoret, among many others.
In theatre she worked with directors and choreographers such as Antoine Vittez, Yannis Kokkos, Maurice Béjart, Roland Petit, Jérôme Savary, Rudolph Nureyev, Bob Wilson and Patrice Chéreau… She also designed costumes for Le Cirque du Soleil, Holiday on Ice and Euro Disney. Isabelle met Mine when she was given her first lead part, Miss Barnum in Barnum.
