Édouard Pennes

Édouard Pennes

A guitarist with a passion for jazz, specifically
the music of Django Reinhardt, Édouard started music at the age of seven.

After a classical training at the Conservatory, he discovered jazz and was initiated into improvisation by jazz-rock guitarist Stéphane Guéry.

He studied be-bop with Pierre Cullaz and then turned to gypsy jazz. The great Serge Krief, virtuoso of the genre, passed on the heritage of Django to him.

He plays all styles of music.
