Something to Live For

Something to Live For came out of an improbable meeting between a honey bee who traveled from one musical to another and a venerable jazz bear!

It all started with a phone call: “Hi my name is Isabelle Georges. I would like to meet you and work on an album with you”. They met and not only started a prosperous musical relationship, but also a wonderful friendship.

Regardless of their age difference, the same love for music runs through their veins. They started with Duke Ellington’s compositions, too often ignored by the new singer’s generation, but their musical tastes soon led them to choose among other great composers, such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Lorenz Hart… This album is a real duet between piano and voice, interpreting some of the most beautiful American standards!
